Library Reservations

AIM's extensive business and management library is a benefit of membership. If you are a Personal or Corporate member, making a reservation on books and audiovisual materials is as simple as emailing library@aimqld.com.au or phoning 1300 882 895.

Personal and Corporate Members may reserve a total of four items.

Please include:

  • Your full name and membership number (your member ID, if known)
  • Your contact telephone number
  • The title and author of each item required

If your membership has lapsed or if you wish to become a member you can do so online. Once you have completed membership and payment details our library staff will process your request.

Northern Terriroty Personal and Corporate members

When the item becomes available it will be mailed to your nominated address. Loans are issued to you for a 5 week period. This timeframe includes postage times to and from Management House, Brisbane. There is no charge for this service, but it does not include return postage costs.

Borrowing Guidelines

Standard borrowing guidelines apply for all Personal and Corporate Members:

  • Overdue items will attract a fine of $1.10 (GST inclusive) per day, per item.
  • Due to high demand, there will be no extensions on videos or CDs.
  • Loan extensions on books are available for one loan period only, unless there is a prior reservation on the item

Journal articles

Please note that journals and reference items are not available for loan. However, journal articles sourced from the AIM library may be reproduced and sent to members via post or fax at a cost of $15.00 per article (including GST). Non members may access this journal service for $20.00 per article. Journal articles obtained from other sources outside the AIM library will be costed individually. Please email journal article requests to library@aimqld.com.au.

If you are a Personal Member you can download full text articles from Business Source Corporate, Emerald Management First and the Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre via MemberNet.
