From the Chair - First Workshop a Runaway Success

Thank you for joining your AIM Council and the NT Chamber of Commerce for the official launch of the AIM/AusIndustry sustainability program. We were overwhelmed with the number of replies and on the night the room was alive and buzzing.

We have already received bookings for Intake Two of the program so why not read more information on the AIM Green and Lean workshops.

Here are some of the comments from participants from Intake One:

  • "I thought that I would be wasting my time leaving my busy workplace, but this will save me thousands."
  • "I can’t believe small business can get this benefit for less than $250. Yes it is real... and I recommend it to anyone."
  • "I now have a full sustainability strategic plan, that makes sense to my staff."
  • "I learned about the benefits about green procurement... that was an eye opener."

Also, let me bring your attention to our continuing relationship with CDU, as together we deliver a comprehensive short course training program throughout 2008. This is the third year of this important partnership which was developed as a result from feedback from managers and leaders from government and industry in the Territory.
