Making a Name for Yourself

AIM Event Wrap-Up from NT Council Chair, Ross Bradford FAIM

International speaker and blogger Scott Ginsberg (aka The Name Tag Guy) delivered his observations and perspectives on success during AIM's National Networking Week in August.

The healthy and hearty breakfast was supplemented by Scott's low GI thought provoking questions and observations accompanied by a large serve of self-deprecating humour. Scott demonstrated that success is only a heartbeat away, and that the key is one of perspective.

Scott's formula involves viewing the mundane from another perspective, developing the idea into a concept and then having the commitment and perseverance to implement your plan.  What could be simpler? Scott demonstrated that topics sometimes considered heavy going or dry could be delivered with humour and relevance. He showed that small changes are successes too – if they are taken towards you achieving your goals.

As a precursor to Scott's presentation, young achiever MunLi Chi from KPMG addressed the audience on her experiences and successes through the AIM Management Excellence Awards. MunLi confirmed why KPMG has such faith in its workforce, and the foresight to partner with AIM to assist with the development of its people.
